私隱政策

Canto AI（「本服務」）重視你的私隱。本政策說明我們如何收集、使用及保護你的資料。
1. 我們收集的資料
- 帳戶資料：當你以 Google 登入，我們會收到你的電郵地址及帳戶識別碼，用作建立帳戶與計算用量。
- 媒體內容：所有處理中的影片只會暫時暫存於你的裝置本地，影片本身不會上載至我們的伺服器。進行轉錄、翻譯、摘要或字幕等 AI 功能時，只會把抽取出的音訊或你提交的文字傳送至第三方 AI 服務（見第 3 節），完成後不會長期保存，並會在傳送前先取得你的同意。影片字幕燒錄（本地模式）完全在你的裝置上完成。
- 轉錄結果：為提供「轉換記錄」功能，你的轉錄文字會儲存在你的帳戶下，你可隨時刪除。
- 付款資料：付款由 Stripe（網頁）及 Apple（iOS）處理，我們不會儲存你的信用卡號碼。
2. 資料如何使用
資料僅用於提供及改善服務、計算用量額度、處理付款，以及在你授權下顯示你的歷史記錄。我們不會出售你的個人資料。
3. 第三方 AI 服務
本服務的 AI 功能依賴以下第三方處理你的內容，傳送前會先取得你的同意：
- Google（Gemini API）：語音轉文字（轉錄）、翻譯、摘要、字幕等功能，會把抽取出的音訊或你提交的文字經我們的伺服器傳送至 Google 處理。
- Microsoft Azure（文字轉語音）：「AI 配音」功能會把你提交的文字傳送至 Azure 生成語音。
上述供應商按其自身私隱條款處理資料，並提供相當程度的保護；我們只傳送完成該功能所需的內容。詳見 Google 私隱政策 及 Microsoft 私隱聲明。
4. 資料保留與刪除
你可在 app 內「帳戶」頁刪除帳戶，我們會刪除你的個人檔案、轉錄記錄及相關資料；亦可在「轉換記錄」刪除個別轉錄。為防止濫用一次性免費額度，刪除帳戶後我們只會保留一項最小化、匿名化的領取記錄（電郵的單向雜湊值），當中不含可讀的個人資料。詳見 私隱選擇與資料刪除。
Privacy Policy

Canto AI ("the Service") values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and account identifier, used to create your account and meter usage.
- Media content: Videos being processed are only temporarily stored locally on your device; the video itself is never uploaded to our servers. For AI features such as transcription, translation, summarization, and captioning, only the extracted audio or the text you submit is sent to a third-party AI service (see Section 3), is not retained long-term, and is only sent after we obtain your consent. Local subtitle burning is performed entirely on your device.
- Transcription results: To provide the "History" feature, your transcribed text is stored under your account; you may delete it at any time.
- Payment information: Payments are handled by Stripe (web) and Apple (iOS); we do not store your credit card number.
2. How Data Is Used
Data is used only to provide and improve the Service, meter usage credits, process payments, and display your history with your authorization. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Third-Party AI Services
The Service's AI features rely on the following third parties to process your content, and your content is only sent after we obtain your consent:
- Google (Gemini API): Speech-to-text (transcription), translation, summarization, and captioning send the extracted audio or the text you submit to Google, via our server.
- Microsoft Azure (Text-to-Speech): The "AI Voiceover" feature sends the text you submit to Azure to generate speech.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms and provide a comparable level of protection; we send only the content needed to complete the feature. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account from the "Account" page in the app — we delete your profile, transcription history, and associated data — and delete individual transcriptions in "History." To prevent abuse of the one-time free credits, after account deletion we retain only a minimal, anonymised record of the grant (a one-way hash of the email) that contains no readable personal data.
